Multigate recently consolidated the two warehouses used to manage our Victorian fulfilment operations (Derrimut and Dandenong South) into a single, newer and much larger warehouse within the Derrimut area.

Michael Lau, Head of Supply Chain & Operations for Multigate said “This upgrade will enable Multigate to more effectively manage our current and future growth requirements. The extra capacity and improved facilities allow us to design our workflows around operational processes that deliver the best possible service outcomes for our customers.”

The new 5,900 square metre warehouse offers Multigate and our customers numerous benefits not available in our previous locations. Some of these include:

• Improved security systems.
• A wider loading area and large undercover loading zone which enables trucks to be loaded/ unloaded out of the rain.
• A wider loading area enabling multiple trucks to be unloaded at once.
• A higher roof gives us the ability to utilise taller racking systems to further expand our storage capacity.

The relocation took place over four consecutive days with the new warehouse operational and dispatching stock to customers on Monday 24th June 2019.
